Grace Johnston

I started this blog as a way to process some painful experiences in my past around emotional trauma, depression, anxiety, poverty and lack mindset.

The more I wrote, and the more I talked to others around me about these painful experiences, the more I realized that other people really benefited from hearing these stories. Somehow, it lightened their load, it made them feel seen, like they weren’t weird after all.

Sharing my pain, fear and shame has opened up the healing powers within other women who have journeyed with me. More than anything, it has opened up my own heart, and paved the path for me to lead with my heart instead of living through my fear.

It’s allowed me to embrace who I really am, deep down. I’m an entrepreneur, a black sheep, a wife, a writer, a dog mom, a business woman, a foreigner, a trauma survivor, an outcast, a healer, a lover of plants and the Earth.

The stories within this blog are a collection of the life experiences I’ve had and the lessons along the way.

If you experienced emotional abuse and neglect as a child,

I see you, I hear you, I feel your pain, I have been there.

If you identify as an intuitive, sensitive or empathetic person,

I see you, I hear you, I feel your pain, I have been there.

If you’ve ever felt terribly alone, like you were unlovable,

I see you, I hear you, I feel your pain, I have been there.

If you’ve ever felt like there wasn’t enough time, space and money for you to do what you really want to do,

I see you, I hear you, I feel your pain, I have been there.

If you’ve ever felt like you’re not good enough,

I see you, I hear you, I feel your pain, I have been there.

If you’ve ever struggled in business,

I see you, I hear you, I feel your pain, I have been there.

I hope my words can bring you warmth and comfort on your own journey.
